On this page we have put a list of useful links. Please note
that they will take you away from the Healthcare Group Web Site, and so we
cannot be held in anyway responsible for the information they contain or the
services that they offer (Please also see our Disclaimer). The links are there
because we hope that they will help you find useful information on the Web.
There are some Medical Links, Non Medical Links and some Local Links (relating
to Guernsey).
If any of the links seem broken or fail then please let us
know and we will update or amend them. Also, if you know of any other sites you
feel we should have listed here then please send them to us and we will include

Please note that there is a lot of good information on the
Internet, but everyone should bear in mind that there are some sites that may
not be accurate, reliable, or factually correct. The British Medical Association
Public Information Unit recommends that anyone searching for health information
on the Internet ask themselves the following questions when assessing the
quality of Web Sites:

Is the site regularly updated ? Information on the review
process, for example the most recent review date, should be given on the
site.

Does the site give references and sources for the
information it provides ?

Does the site provide information about who (the
organisation or individual) compiled the site ?

Does the organisation give an address or contact details
?

Does the site contain spelling and grammatical mistakes ?
More than a couple of these indicate a weak site that has not been properly
edited or reviewed.

Is the organisation trying to sell something ?
