Pier Steps Surgery is not open at the weekends, but there is a surgery at St Martins Health Centre on a Saturday morning for Emergencies only. About Pier Steps

Pier Steps Clinic is situated in the lower floor of Boots the Chemist in the High Street. This surgery is very convenient for people who work in town and perhaps need to see a Doctor during their lunch break !! It is also very convenient for people who are here on holiday. Many visitors staying at the Marina find this surgery very convenient, and we also see a number of people from Herm at Pier Steps. Although the surgery is small, it is well equipped and provides access to the other facilities of the Healthcare Group. The Pharmacy at Boots is very convenient should you wish to collect your prescriptions from there. Access is either through Boots the Chemist or via the North Pier Steps (by the Ship and Crown Inn).

Meet the Doctors

At Pier Steps there is one Partner who has help from an assistant. There is a lady doctor who works here.

Dr Nick Paluch has lived and worked in Guernsey since 1982. He is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners and holds diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics and Dermatology. His wife is local and they have five children. On a Monday afternoon he is available out of town at St Martins Health Centre. He has a special interest in acupuncture and cryotherapy (using liquid nitrogen to treat skin lesions by freezing them). For three afternoons a week he assists with the Chemotherapy at the Hospital and Bulstrode House.
